Coordinating Pre-Hospital Care Across Central Oregon
Established through the consolidation of Central Oregon EMS and the Oregon State EMT Association.
The East Cascade Emergency Medical Services Council (ECEMS) was established through the consolidation of Central Oregon Emergency Medical Services and the Central Oregon chapter of the Oregon State Emergency Medical Technicians Association to centralize leadership in pre-hospital emergency medical care. E.C.E.M.S. strives to coordinate and provide leadership and direction for emergency medical care in Central Oregon through standardized protocols and procedures.
To unite agencies within A.T.A.B. 7 and Central Oregon to promote and deliver pre-hospital emergency medical services.
To study, formulate, and recommend protocols for pre-hospital care.
To act as a facilitator for the exchange of professional information among its members.
